Countryfile visit the NR sheep

BBC1’s popular show ‘Countryfile’ have chosen the North Ronaldsay sheep and sheepdyke to feature in their 2016 Winter Special!

They came up to the island to learn more about the damage that fierce storms have done to the dyke, interviewing North Ronaldsay residents and OSF Trustees to find out how people can help to conserve the historic sheep breed.

Presenter Adam Henson got hands-on with a beautiful North Ronaldsay ram and even helped to rebuild a section of sheepdyke!
